About QuestIsle

We're building the island homework always wanted to be

QuestIsle is a workbook game for kids aged 5 to 12. We take the practice a good workbook gives, in maths, reading, spelling, science, logic and writing, and turn each page into a short quest on an island your child actually wants to explore.

Why QuestIsle exists

Most parents know the after-school routine: a workbook, a pencil, a child who would rather be doing anything else, and a grown-up trying to keep the peace. The practice matters. Times tables, phonics and spelling patterns only stick when kids go over them again and again.

Games, on the other hand, get kids to try the same level twenty times and enjoy it. QuestIsle puts the two together. The questions are the same ones a classroom workbook would ask, for kindergarten to grade 6, but they live on islands with treasure to find, a fox called Pip to help and a map that grows with every quest.

And because grown-ups deserve to know how it is going, every finished quest shows up on the Parent Dashboard: what was practised, how accurate it was and what to try next.

What we believe

Four signposts we check every quest against before it reaches an island.

  1. 1

    Practice should feel like play

Kids learn by repeating things, and repetition only sticks when they want to come back. So every worksheet is a quest, and every right answer moves the adventure forward.

  2. 2

    Short beats long

A quest takes about ten minutes. Little and often builds more than one long, tearful session, and it leaves time for everything else in a family's day.

  3. 3

Mistakes are part of the map

A wrong answer opens a hint that walks through the method one step at a time. Nobody loses a life or gets told off. They try again and see why.

  4. 4

    Parents hold the compass

You know your child best. The Parent Dashboard shows what they practised, how it went and what to try next, and the limits you set are the limits the game keeps.

The island rules

Promises we make to every family, pinned where everyone can see them.

  • No ads, ever

No banners, no videos between quests and no sponsored content. Your child's attention stays on the learning.

  • No chat with strangers

Children only see their own island and their own family. There is no messaging and no public profile.

  • Grown-ups behind the gate

Purchases and settings sit behind a parent PIN or password, so nothing is bought or changed by accident.

  • No loot boxes

Rewards are earned by finishing quests. Nothing is random and nothing is for sale inside the game.

  • Data is never sold

We collect as little as we can, use it only to run QuestIsle and let you delete it at any time.

  • The island closes on time

Daily caps and quiet hours are enforced by the game, so the end of play time is never an argument.
